Relocating to the California or Inglewood area
Relocating to a new town is fraught with enough problems, without considering the daunting task of finding a place for your family plus finding a Realtor you can trust. At Pat Douglas Realtors, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by following a refined process designed to speed up your search.
When relocating, you probably won't have the luxury of looking at every home on the market. Most likely, you'll have the time to see a couple dozen, so whittle down your list first thing with this advice:
- Before leaving town, arrange your needs into one list. Then list your wants in another. When a property doesn't even meet your needs, it's one less house to look at.
- Have a set price range. This could be based on loan pre-approval or a conservative estimate of how much you'll get from selling your present home.
- Think about drive time to work or other activities. Traffic in the Inglewood area could be different than what you're accustomed to, so tell me how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
Before we meet in person, I could send you my picks for listings we should see. Or if you've already started your search, let me know what you've found. While virtual tours and photos are helpful, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. I can arrange any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. We could visit up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day with the proper planning.
