Moving to the Inglewood area?
Moving to a new town can push someone to their mental limits, without considering the daunting task of shopping for a place for your family in addition to finding the right Realtor. At Pat Douglas Realtors, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When most buyers go into home search mode - they may come up with 50+ listings to consider. Naturally, that's too many homes to look at if you're limited on time! I can help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen properties, with these items in mind:
- Arrive into town with two lists: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can obviously cross it off the list.
- Have an established price range. This could be based on loan pre-approval or a reasonable estimate of what you'll net from selling your present home.
- Take into account drive time to your job or other activities. Traffic in the Inglewood area could be different than what you're used to, so let me know how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
Before we meet in person, I could send you recommendations for listings we should see. Or you may already have some top candidates based on your own research. While virtual tours and photos are great, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. We could see up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day if we work efficiently.
